
Go to the location where the subject is located.

Click the icon in front of the subject you want to edit and click edit. Now the edit page of the subject opens. Based on your role permissions, you can alter the settings.

Parent is the location of the subject.
Name is the name of the subject.
At default formula editor, you select the formula editor that will be used as standard formula editor in all exercises inside this subject.
At default question mode, you select the question mode that will be used as standard question mode in all exercises inside this subject.
At default audience, you select the audience that will be used as standard audience in all exercises inside this subject.
If an exercise needs a different formula editor, question mode or audience, this can be changed in the exercise itself. If, besides the exercises in this subject, you want the child subjects of this subject to also use these default settings, check the box Apply to all child subjects to the right of the default setting.
Add entry lets you add a metadata field that belongs to this subject. To add more metadata fields or to remove one, click on the add or remove button to the right of the metadata field:

After you are done altering the settings of the subject, click the OK button at the bottom of the page. If you want to cancel your changes, click on the Close button.
