CalcArcSin
CalcArcSin
CalcArcSin[ x ] calculates the inverse sine of a number as an angle, in radians or degrees.
Usages
CalcArcSin[ x ]
CalcArcSin[ x ] calculates the inverse sine of x as a decimal number of radians. x must be a decimal number with a fractional part, such as 0.5 (see the warning below).

CalcArcSin[ x, Variant=>'deg' ]
With the option Variant=>'deg', the angle is given in degrees.

Options
Variant
'deg' to get the angle in degrees. Default: radians.

Warning
CalcArcSin only calculates decimal numbers with a fractional part. CalcArcSin[ 1 ] and CalcArcSin[ 1.0 ] (which counts as the whole number 1) are left unevaluated, also with Variant=>'deg'. Use Numerical to calculate them: Numerical[ CalcArcSin[1] ].
