Commands Reference
This is a complete overview of the math commands available for scripting in Algebrakit. Click a command for more information.
Constructs

List Commands

Concat |
Concat concatenates expressions or lists into a single list. |
ConstantArray |
ConstantArray creates a list containing a number of copies of a given value. |
Difference |
Difference creates a list containing the elements of the first list, where the elements from the second list are removed. |
FindI |
FindI returns the first index where an expression appears in a list. |
GetCommonBase |
GetCommonBase returns the common base of the expressions in a list. |
Intersect |
Intersect returns the list of elements that occur in all given lists. |
ImplicitList |
ImplicitList displays the arguments as a list without the curly braces normally shown when displaying as a list. |
Length |
Length returns the length of a list. |
Map |
Map applies a given function or mapping to each element of a given list. |
MaxI |
MaxI returns the index of the maximum value in a list. |
Mean |
Mean returns the mean of the values in a list. |
RemoveI |
RemoveI returns a new list with all the elements at the given indices removed. |
Shuffle |
Shuffle returns a copy of a list in a random order. |
Sort |
Sort returns a copy of a list sorted in numerical order. |
Tally |
Tally counts how often each element occurs in a list. |

Ceil |
Ceil returns the smallest integer greater than or equal to a value. |
DecimalToFraction |
DecimalToFraction returns the simplest fraction representing the given (decimal) value. |
Denominator |
Denominator returns the denominator of a fraction. |
EqualsEval |
EqualsEval checks if both expressions evaluate to the same expression. |
ExponentialStandardForm |
ExponentialStandardForm returns the exponential standard form of an expression. |
Factorial |
Factorial represents the factorial operator. |
FactorInt |
FactorInt returns the prime factorisation of a number. |
Floor |
Floor returns the largest integer less than or equal to a value. |
IsMatch |
IsMatch checks if two expressions are equivalent in a mathematical way. In other words, a generalised way of checking for a certain equality. |

LinearGeneralForm returns the linear general form of an expression and given variable(s) in a list. |

LinearStandardForm returns the linear standard form of an expression and given variable. |
Negative |
Negative applies the minus operator to an expression. |
Numerator |
Numerator returns the numerator of a fraction. |

Numerical returns the approximate numerical value of an expression. |
PolynomialDegree |
PolynomialDegree determines the degree of a polynomial. |
Round |
Round rounds a value to the nearest integer. |
RoundDown |
RoundDown rounds a number down to the nearest whole number. |
RoundUp |
RoundUp rounds a number up to the nearest whole number. |
Smaller |
Smaller represents the mathematical 'smaller than' relation. |
SmallerEqual |
SmallerEqual represents the mathematical 'smaller than or equals' relation. |
UnequalsEval |
UnequalsEval checks if two expressions do not evaluate to the same expression. |
Randomisation Commands

Shuffle |
Shuffle returns a copy of a list in a random order. |

FuncApplication evaluates a function for an input. |
GenBasicFraction |
GenBasicFraction generates a list of n basic fractions. A basic fraction is a fraction with 1 in the numerator and a not-too-difficult integer in the denominator. |
GenSimpleFraction |
GenSimpleFraction generates a list of n simple fractions. |
MCEOption |
MCEOption defines a multiple-choice option. |
OrderAs |
OrderAs orders the arguments of the first argument to relate as close as possible to the second argument. |
Quantity |
Quantity represents the value with a unit (e.g. meters, euros, minutes). |
RemoveFunction |
RemoveFunction removes all occurrences of a given function from an expression. |
Strict |
Strict checks whether a condition strictly holds. |
Substitute |
Substitute substitutes all occurrences of an expression with another given expression. |
Simplify |
Simplify fully simplifies an expression, executing any Algebrakit instructions in the expression. |
Type |
Type returns the type of an expression. |
